Job Description
The Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking a Clinical Social Worker (C) Clinical Service Authorization Specialist (CSAS) to ensure DMH policies and procedures are followed in conducting assessments, determining clinical eligibility for DMH services, and overseeing the service engagement process. The selected candidate will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and be responsible for interfacing with DMH Site Office staff, conducting joint interviews with applicants, and preparing case presentations for review with the Area Medical Director.
Requirements
- Master's or higher degree in social work
- Licensure as a Licensed Certified Social Worker or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Social Work
- At least two years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, professional experience as a clinical social worker after earning a Master's degree in social work
