Job Description
The Department of Revenue seeks a Counsel I for its Litigation Bureau. The incumbent will represent the Department in proceedings before the Appellate Tax Board and various courts, handle cases, negotiate with opposing parties, and provide guidance to interns and support staff. The Bureau works in a hybrid model, with both remote and in-office work.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- admission to the Massachusetts Bar
- experience in legal research, legal writing, and legal procedures and processes
