Job Description
The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation seeks applicants for a Lakes & Ponds Aquatic Invasive Species Intern (unpaid internship). The internship will involve conducting aquatic plant surveys and educating the public about aquatic invasive species prevention methods.
Requirements
- Confident aquatic plant identification of common northeast species
- Ability to work independently and approach members of the public
- Familiarity with ArcGIS programs
- Possession of a valid MA drivers license
