Veterinarian Assistant (Seasonal)

The Massachusetts Gaming Commission is seeking to hire seasonal Veterinary Assistants to provide services at licensed racetrack facilities within the Commonwealth.

Requirements

• Assisting the MGC veterinary and administrative staff
• Maintaining the test barn area
• Collecting urine for post-race testing of racehorses
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Excellent interpersonal and observational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive material
