Paralegal | Insurance & Financial Services Division

The Attorney General's Office is seeking a high-motivated Paralegal to support the Insurance & Financial Services Division. The Paralegal will provide administrative, technical, and investigative support in ongoing settlement implementations, mediations, and consumer outreach, and assist attorneys and technical staff in litigation and investigations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience providing support to experts and attorneys in a legal setting
• Familiarity with consumer lending rules, securities regulation, and/or consumer insurance issues
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
• Ability to complete complex tasks, follow instructions, and produce high-quality work product
• Effective analytical, research, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel
