Data Engineer

Massar Capital Management, LP is an alternative investment management company that employs a global macro trading strategy. The data team delivers infrastructure and models to deploy valuable data across the business, and we are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team.

Requirements

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of investment research teams' data needs and provide the right solution to them
• Develop, test, and optimize Python data applications, frameworks, and services
• Collaborate with technologists and researchers to align data applications and platforms with evolving business needs
• Write and review technical documentation, including requirements for researchers and proposals for platform enhancements, as well as production support guidelines
• Frequently take the lead on production support operations
