Job Description
MassMutual Ascend is a leading provider of annuities, and as a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a web team that builds functionality for the company's distribution partners and clients. The role involves designing, coding, testing, and maintaining application programs to achieve requirements and objectives of the client group. You will work on complex matters, apply advanced technical concepts, and contribute to review and design of new or updated application programs. You will also keep team and management informed of results, offering timely technical feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience
- .NET languages, preferably C#
- Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.)
- Thorough understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
- Team player who excels in a collaborative environment
