Survey Party Chief

The Survey Party Chief will lead the field survey crew and be responsible for the organization, efficiency, and accuracy of work performed and data obtained. The role involves overseeing construction, right-of-way, control, topographic, and/or other related survey duties, and collaborating with utility companies to ensure surveys are properly executed for public streets and easements.

Requirements

• Associate degree in surveying, Civil Technology, or similar field, plus four years of experience OR six years of qualified surveying experience required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent supervisory and organizational skills
• Thorough understanding of and ability to execute proper field survey procedures and techniques
• Thorough understanding of mathematical calculations used in field surveys and the ability to identify mistakes in calculations
