Mastercard is seeking a Director – Business Analysis (Corporate Treasury) to lead high-impact projects that deliver settlement services using current or new internal capabilities, partners and platforms. The role will focus on delivering settlement services in Asia Pacific (AP) region as a priority but would also support projects in other regions driven by business needs.
Requirements
- Lead execution of regional settlement projects in collaboration with the global team on strategic efforts such as introducing new settlement services and FX enhancements in AP.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic leader from the Treasury department, focusing on enablement of settlement services and capabilities.
- Collaborate with business units to strategize, develop and implement enhancements to settlement service offerings, ensuring alignment with market needs and operational capabilities
- Conduct thorough analysis to assess the financial, operational, regulatory, customer, and system impacts and requirements needed to support settlement services; present strategic recommendations to executive management
- Identify and address risks and impacts to Mastercard and its customers due to the introduction of new settlement capabilities
- Lead AP liquidity roadmap by driving initiatives to ensure optimal Settlement liquidity protocol is in place across AP markets.
- Lead global settlement invoice processing, including onboarding new vendors, routing invoices for approvals and payment via Oracle, and resolving processing exceptions.
- Oversee settlement-related bank account administration, including signatory updates, account closures, ongoing KYC reviews, and annual account validations, in partnership with GBSC.
- Part of broader Settlement team that comprises an Operations team responsible for 24*7 settlement. In the event of business contingency scenarios, the individual in the role would be part of rostering schedule for managerial oversight of the Asia Pacific weekend settlement process.
