Mastercard is seeking a Director, Services Partnerships BD, Japan to help grow the company's services in Japan through strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, marketing, and partner development, and be fluent in Japanese and English.
Requirements
- At least ten years of experience in enterprise software, marketing consulting, advertising agency, or data sales/business development servicing marketing-oriented clients
- Track record of success in channel partner-focused sales
- Sourcing, qualifying, screening, and forming business relationships with channel partners at the CXO level
- Managing major customer/partner relationships to make things happen, grow the pie, and maintain an excellent level of transparency, trust, and collaboration
- Native Japanese speaker with fluent English required. Korean language a plus
- Aggressive sales hunting mindset; willing to navigate complexity and ambiguity to drive deals to closure as a hands-on owner of partner sales
- Experience developing, leading, and managing joint business planning with partners
- Strategic thinker who can quickly develop a point of view on market opportunities to focus on for each solution area and move to action
