Lead Platform Engineer

Mastercard is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer to design, deliver, and improve CI/CD capabilities for engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have experience with SonarQube, Artifactory, and Bitbucket, and a strong focus on developer experience and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional engineering experience
• Strong fundamentals in software design, automation, CI/CD concepts, reliability, and operational excellence
• Hands-on experience with SonarQube, Artifactory, and Bitbucket
• Proven ability to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Experience owning delivery from requirement through production
• Solid understanding of code quality practices, static analysis, artifact lifecycle management, and build governance
• Comfort driving adoption of engineering standards and reviewing the work of peers to ensure consistency and quality
• Operational mindset with experience improving monitoring, alerting, and reliability of build and delivery systems
