Assistant Principal of Specialized Services - 2026/2027 School Year

Mastery Schools is seeking an Assistant Principal of School Services to ensure the high-quality delivery of academic and emotional services for students who require additional support. This role involves managing specialized services, supervising a team of teachers and support staff, and implementing individualized education plans. The ideal candidate will embody Mastery’s values of respect, service, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Federal and State Special Education Laws
• Knowledge of teaching methods, curriculum, and education programs designed for students with learning, physical and behavioral disabilities
• Knowledge of Positive Behavior Supports related to individuals with learning, developmental, and/or emotional disabilities
• Knowledge of English Language Development, teaching practices and programming
• Strong communication skills and ability to develop trusting relationships
• Demonstrated professionalism and responsibility
• A belief that all students should be held to high academic standards
• Ability to physically perform duties including typing, filing, and phone calls
• Must be PA state certified in special education and administration
