Job Description
We're a leading manufacturer of air compressors and air brake tanks, and we're looking for a Sourcing Specialist to interface between suppliers, engineering, quality, and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, patience, assertiveness, and flexibility.
Requirements
- Resolving operational issues with cross-functional teams
- Organizing and carrying out value improvement & cost improvement programs
- Negotiating purchase terms and prices with vendors
- Evaluating supplier cost and quality history
- Maintaining product profiles, material master, and cost analysis/landed costs
