As a Staff Threat Research Engineer, Intelligence Reporting at Material Security, you will research, define, and evangelize cloud workspace security.

Requirements

Research Ability: independently develop a research agenda, incorporate primary and secondary resources, create and test hypotheses, write up findings, and understand when those discoveries are product relevant.
Content Creation Experience: experience across multiple content mediums (blogs, social media, podcast, video) and comfortable communicating findings both in writing and in person.
Analytical Ability: experience pulling, transforming and analyzing data, self sufficient in SQL and relevant data analysis tools (e.g., ipython notebooks).
Security Domain Expertise: familiar with modern adversary behavior and techniques and understand how to leverage data sources to identify them.
Collaboration & Communication: collaborative spirit and great communication skills.
Ownership and Independence: passionate about the impact of their work and find satisfaction in a job well done.
