Job Description
MATRIX is seeking Labourers for a 3 to 6 week temporary assignment, shovelling snow and manually clearing snow to help prep a construction site in Bathurst Inlet Nunavut.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a remote camp setting
- Previous experience in manual labour, shovelling, snow removal etc.
- Construction experience a definite asset
- Must be patient, flexible and adaptable
- Must be capable of sustained, intensive Physical labour
- 2 years past experience as a Labourer in remote settings is desired
- Level 1 First Aid Certification or equivalent 2-day course - is an asset
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs is required
- Must be able to work outdoors in the Arctic, extreme cold temperatures and limited visibility at times
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are needed
- Positive attitude and a desire to help your team succeed, must be motivated, hard-working and able to take directions
Benefits

- $350 a day, based on a 12 hour day
