The Field HSE Supervisor assists in the overall supervision and administration of project safety, accountability, accident and fire protection programs to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational/ environmental safety and health management, or equivalent combination of education/experience
- 5+ years of safety experience as an individual contributor in construction or industrial fabrication facility or equivalent background
- Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Must meet ONE of the following criteria: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in safety from an ABET accredited institution with a minimum of five (5) years of large project experience, A CSP designation with a minimum of five (5) years in a construction safety role, A CHST designation with a minimum of five (5) years in a construction safety role, A minimum of 5 years’ experience on a large project in a construction safety role and be current with the OSHA 500/502 Training Course
- Advanced knowledge and ability to enforce all federal state, local and company safety regulations
- Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement corrective measures
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
