Piping Superintendent

The Piping Superintendent is responsible for planning the works and daily supervision of subordinate foremen and craft employees tasked with layout, fabricate, assemble, installation, testing and re-instating piping including pipe supports and fixtures for process and utility systems.

Requirements

• 6+ years’ experience in similar facility, including construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures;
• 1+ years’ experience supervising craft employees;
• 4-year engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and experience;
• Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control;
• Ability to supervise large groups;
• Demonstrated ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize performance;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; good computer skills including MS Word and Excel;
• Ability to work in small or confined spaces;
• Ability to push, pull, lift, or carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds;
• Ability to perform work outside, which may include exposure to all types of weather conditions
