The Discipline Workface Planner is responsible for developing discipline-specific Construction Work Packages (CWPs), Installation Work Packages (IWPs), Material Take-offs (MTOs), and Quantity Surveying functions as part of the Work Package execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.
- 4+ years' related experience in the heavy construction/industrial EPC/EPCM industry, or equivalent field experience.
- Working knowledge to advanced competency in AWP/CWP Concepts.
- Demonstrates good analytical skills.
- Knowledge of the engineering, supply chain, and construction process and deliverables.
- Fundamental knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction & home-office and site planning requirements.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously under time-sensitive deadlines.
- Understanding of Document Management & Control software systems; knowledge of Hexagon SDx, SmartCompletions, and iConstruct capabilities is a plus.
- Understanding of how scheduling software and 3D design technologies are used on projects.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office suite of products.
