Job Description
The Civil Senior Engineer I must possess a strong technical background and sound engineering judgement which will be applied in the development of deliverables for industrial site development projects.
Requirements
- BS in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
- 6+ years related engineering experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously under time sensitive deadlines
- Detail oriented, committed to quality
- Experienced in industrial and/or commercial site development, roads/streets/highways, storm drainage collection and retention/detention systems, potable water distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection and pumping systems, site grading, earthwork, etc.
- Experienced in rail layout/design and rail operator industrial track standards/requirements and approval processes/procedures
- General understanding of local/state/federal regulatory agency permitting requirements and processes/procedures
- Proficient in common civil engineering and Microsoft software packages (HEC, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, EXCEL, WORD, e.g.)
- Experience in bulk material handling and liquid terminal facilities is a plus
