Job Description
The Pipe Foreman will lead a pipe crew in assembling, laying out, installing, and maintaining pipe systems on industrial new construction, maintenance, and turnaround projects.
Requirements
- Read blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work
- Manage crew processes, scheduling, costs, employee relations issues, and employment needs
- Identify all tools required for tasks
- Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks
- Illustrate in-depth knowledge of all pipe fitting processes
- Tactically plan operations for scheduling workloads in crews efficiently utilizing assets and resources to minimize cost
- Ensure all QA/QC requirements are met on assigned projects
- Attend and represent the company on bid walks and potential projects
