Software Development Intern

Matson has been the leading ocean shipping and logistics provider throughout the Pacific since 1882. As a Software Development Intern, you will assist with building and improving software applications and work with engineers to learn how enterprise software is designed, tested, and delivered.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program related to software engineering, computer science, or information technology
• Completed at least one academic term prior to the internship start
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (examples: Java, C#, Python, JavaScript)
• Experience with basic testing, debugging, or version control (optional)
• Interest in learning enterprise software practices (optional)
• Use of AI coding assistants in coding and software development (optional)
