Job Description
Mattamy Homes Canada is seeking a MEP Engineer/Designer to contribute to the design and coordination of diverse, high-impact projects across Stelumar Advanced Manufacturing Inc. and Mattamy Homes Canada. The successful candidate will design and engineer mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems while ensuring technical accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
Requirements
- Design and engineer mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems
- Prepare preliminary design layouts to support concept development
- Coordinate MEP designs collaboratively with architectural and structural disciplines
- Oversee and produce comprehensive drawings and specifications for all MEP scopes
- Seal engineering documents in accordance with licensure requirements and the scope of each project
- Serve as Engineer of Record for permit submissions as required
- Collaborate with architects throughout all phases of the project
- Contribute to the construction and implementation of technical solutions
- Prioritize and manage assignments effectively to ensure completion by project deadlines and within budgetary limits
