Designer (Mid-Level - Onsite, New York)

MATTE is a 360° full-service creative studio seeking a Designer to join their multidisciplinary creative team. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience and is excited to grow within a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional design experience in an agency, studio, or brand environment.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals, range, and thoughtful execution across digital, print, and experiential work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma;
• Solid understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy, with a sharp eye for detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with guidance, while maintaining a high standard of craft.
• Clear, professional communication skills and comfort discussing design work in internal reviews and collaborative settings.
