HERO NYC is seeking an Events & Partnerships Project Manager on a contract basis to drive event sales and community engagement, while serving as the primary liaison to Rockefeller Center. The ideal candidate is a sales-driven strategist and relationship-oriented community builder who can close deals, execute events, and foster partnerships.
Requirements
- Develop and execute a robust private event sales strategy with defined revenue targets and clear project timelines
- Source, pitch, and close new event clients, including corporations, brands, and agencies
- Conduct tours and present HERO's unique event capabilities, tailoring proposals to client needs
- Partner with clients through the full lifecycle from initial inquiry and contracting to event planning and post-event wrap
- Lead internal project management for sold events, facilitating cross-departmental check-ins and ensuring budgets, milestones, and deadlines are met
- Act as HERO's primary liaison to Rockefeller Center, strengthening relationships with internal teams and tenants
- Identify, secure, and manage partnerships that drive programming, sponsorship, and co-marketing opportunities
- Develop initiatives that expand HERO's reach across cultural, corporate, and community audiences during the contract term
- Monitor event sales performance and partnership ROI, providing regular reporting on outcomes and growth opportunities
- Build and maintain a strong industry network to keep HERO front-of-mind among potential partners, tenants, and event decision-makers
