Senior Art Director (On-Site, New York)

MATTE is a 360° creative studio seeking a Senior Art Director to lead concept and visual direction across integrated campaigns, content campaigns, brand systems, and experiential work, while shaping the integration of AI into ideation, production, and iteration.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in art direction or senior design roles
• Portfolio with strong, recognizable campaign work
• Proven ability to build a campaign idea and extend it cohesively across film, social, digital, print, OOH, and experiential
• Expert-level Figma skills
• Strong command of the Adobe Creative Suite
• Demonstrable, hands-on experience using generative AI tools
• Comfort with image and video models
• Track record of using AI to enhance campaign development
• Strong prompting instincts
• Experience leading creative on multi-disciplinary campaigns and mentoring more junior designers
