Quality Assurance Engineer

AmerCable is an ISO 9001:2015-certified manufacturer of jacketed electrical power, control and instrumentation cables. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

Requirements

• Develop, review quality metrics and other KPI's to assist Operations
• Prepare and implement quality assurance policies and standards
• Lead & participate in problem-solving teams to address high cost and/or high frequency defects.
• Serve as point person for quality system audits from third-party agencies and customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Production & Engineering to ensure products meet customer demands and expectations.
• Work closely with the production team to continuously improve the quality of existing products and services
• Assist with customer complaints to ensure containment, determine root causes, implement corrective actions and communicate with customers.
• Contribute to process improvements and QA best practices.
