Job Description
The Automation Engineer (Siemens PLC) role involves testing and debugging of automation equipment, designing and implementing engineering solutions, and traveling for projects on short notice.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- Minimum 5 years' experience as Automation Engineer with focus on Siemens PLC's
- Expert level knowledge of Siemens Step7, TIA Portal, Safety ES, WinCC flexible & Advanced
- Proficiency in designing controls systems
- Strong MS Office, AutoCAD Mechanical & Electrical, E-Plan
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems
- Excellent analytical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus
- Ability to lift 55 lbs. overhead
- Ability to stand, crouch and climb to perform duties
- Vision: 20/20 corrected and normal hearing range
