Job Description
The Industrial Electrician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and industrial equipment throughout the facility. This position supports manufacturing operations by ensuring electrical controls, motors, PLC systems, and related equipment operate safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Troubleshoots 480VAC 3 phase motor control circuits.
- Troubleshoots industrial control circuits
- Modifies circuits in industrial machines and systems.
- Changes all size motors from fractional to 500 H.P.
- Troubleshoots PLC systems.
- Installs control systems for rebuilds or new systems.
- Installs and testing Ethernet networks.
- Troubleshoots and installing VFD motor controls.
- Electrician disassembles defective electrical equipment, replaces defective or worn parts, and reassembles equipment.
- Responsible for replacing all fuses, light sockets, bulbs and switches.
