Job description
As a Software Engineering Intern at Maxima, you will work directly with our engineering and product teams to help build the foundation of the world’s first AI-native accounting platform. You will contribute to the design and implementation of systems that automate complex financial workflows, power our agentic automation framework, and make enterprise accounting faster and more accurate.
Contribute to full-stack development across front-end and back-end systems. Work on core product features such as journal entry automation, reconciliations, and anomaly detection. Build APIs and integrations with financial systems including ERPs, HRIS, and banking platforms.
Work directly with senior engineers and founders solving complex AI and systems challenges. Gain exposure to modern architectures, AI workflows, and enterprise-grade software development. Be a core part of a mission-driven startup looking to transform accounting processes.
