Respiratory Therapy Assistant-Dispatch

The Respiratory Therapy Assistant provides support for respiratory care services for the treatment of patients with disordered respiratory physiology under the direction of a registered respiratory therapist.

Requirements

• Delivering varied oxygen devices on a timely basis
• Performing hospital-wide rounds on a daily basis to monitor and provide service to patients using respiratory support devices
• Supporting respiratory therapists, nurses, and physicians with their equipment/supplies needs, work lists, workload data throughout the Mayo complex
• Serving in the department communications center and providing information management and data entry for department billing, QA database, and in support of research studies
• Performing CPR as required
• Performing 12 Lead EKG's
