Nurse Practitioner

MBI Health Services is a certified behavioral health agency seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their primary care team. The role involves gathering medical histories, working with doctors, performing routine examinations, and addressing patients' primary healthcare needs.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of Nurse Practitioner experience
• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program
• Licensed and registered as a Nurse Practitioner in the District of Columbia and board-certified by either ANCC or AANP
• Prescriptive authorization
• Experience providing primary care as a family nurse practitioner
• Proficiency with medical instruments and equipment
• Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems
• A sound understanding of all pertinent federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of disease prevention
