Job Description
Performs a variety of duties and programming tasks using appropriate software for fabrication of complex marine components and assemblies.
Requirements
- Prepare programs for CNC fiber laser machine(s) and CNC tube bending machine(s).
- Maintain and update all NC program files.
- Supply machine operators with set-up and run information as required.
- Operate CNC fiber laser machine(s) and CNC tube bending machine(s) as required.
- Perform first part inspections related to program proof out process.
- Operate 3D laser scanning equipment.
- Export and import files.
- Prepare design data package for engineering.
- Interface with various departments and advise with technical information and guidance.
- Provide training as required.
- Attend training as required.
- Perform standard 5S activities.
- Perform other related duties as required.
