Analog IC Designer

MBRYONICS is seeking a highly skilled Analog IC Designer to join their team. The successful candidate will design, simulate, and verify analog circuits for high-speed ICs and photonic integrated circuits. The role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of two rapidly evolving fields, contributing to groundbreaking advancements in photonics and electronics.

Requirements

• Bachelors, Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in analog IC design, with a strong portfolio of successful tape-outs in advanced node CMOS or BiCMOS processes.
• Proven experience designing high-speed analog circuits (e.g., >10Gbps).
• Experience with analog design for photonic integrated circuits (PICs) or optical communication systems.
• In-depth knowledge of semiconductor device physics and analog circuit design fundamentals.
• Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Custom Compiler, Keysight ADS).
• Strong understanding of layout effects and parasitic extraction.
• Experience with mixed-signal simulation and verification methodologies.
• Experience of digitally assisted analog and analog calibration loops.
• Experience of EM simulation tools such as Cadence EMX, Ansys HFSS or Keysight ADS
