Job Description
McAdams is a full-service land planning, landscape architecture, civil engineering, transportation, and geomatics firm that seeks a Senior Planner to partner with clients and lead projects through all phases of design, due diligence, planning, entitlement, and site development. The Senior Planner will collaborate with internal teams and clients to provide valuable entitlement guidance and manage client relationships. The role requires a certified planning professional with 15+ years of experience in planning or design, and a commitment to continuous improvement and helping others succeed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Landscape Architecture, City/Community/Regional Planning, Urban Planning, or related field
- AICP certification, and/or RLA
- 15+ years’ experience in planning or design
- Advanced oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements and planning standards
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with strong drive for personal growth and a commitment to continuous improvement
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
