The Assistant Preconstruction Manager will participate in all aspects of the bid and estimating process and lead preconstruction and estimating activities on small projects.
Requirements
- Assists in the pricing and bidding of construction projects
- Leads preconstruction and estimating activities on small projects
- Develops and documents logical assumptions during early-design estimating activities
- Communicates with architects and consultants
- Conducts reviews of milestone documents
- Assists with final assembly of estimate
- Directs, coordinates and provides information and documents to subcontractors
- Prepares contractual exhibits for scope of work for subcontracts
- Participates in hard bid/estimating and GMP budgeting activities
- Builds and maintains relationships with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and internal clients
- Keeps current with latest estimating technology and techniques
