SCADA Engineer - Renewable Energy

McCarthy Building Companies is seeking a SCADA Engineer to join their Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition, and Commissioning team. The SCADA Engineer will be responsible for successful completion of assigned projects, which requires technical competence as well as leadership competence in working with clients in addition to mentoring and supervising site team members assigned to projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, and 2+ years of experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of SCADA electrical construction principles/practices preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in managing SCADA development and commissioning preferred.
• Experience leading successful project teams, including development of employees and maintaining relationships with external entities.
• Excellent organizational, team management, innovative and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Development, Execution, and Commissioning across variety of SCADA platforms with emphasis on Ignition.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, architectural, and structural construction plans and documents.
• Knowledge of local and regional code requirements. In addition to NERC, ISO, Cybersecurity requirements and industry practices.
• Strong communication skills: ability to facilitate trainings for partners. Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to Travel up to 50% across U.S. based projects.
