Estimator

Creates material lists and takeoffs from blueprints, ensures quality customer service, and assists with product information and answering questions.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training
• Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts, apply basic algebra and geometry
• Ability to utilize strong multi-tasking, organizational, prioritization, and follow-up skills
• Advanced computer and software skills, including company point-of-sale system and estimating software
• Knowledge and understanding of reading and interpreting detailed blueprints and structural designs
• Strong understanding of residential building methods and how they are built and/or installed
