Job Description
The Principal Planner is responsible for interpreting internal or external business issues and recommending best practices, solving complex planning/scheduling-related problems, and leading functional teams or projects.
Requirements
- Interpreting internal or external business issues and recommending best practices
- Solving complex planning/scheduling-related problems
- Leading functional teams or projects
- Performing schedule analysis using Project Management software's
- Supporting project baseline creation
- Facilitating detailed multi-discipline scope reviews
- Performing detailed schedule quality and integrity checks
- Updating and validating physical progress reported from EVMS systems
- Providing project schedule support and mentoring junior planners
- Developing and maintaining logically linked level 3 and level 4 activity schedules
- Producing workforce histograms and progress and quantity curves
- Maintaining and reviewing the sequence of Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, Installation, Hook-Up, and Commissioning
