Job Description
The Senior Principal Cost Controls Spec solves complex problems and proactively identifies and solves problems that impact project performance. They offer a broad base of knowledge about the Project Controls function and impact the direction and resource allocation of programs and projects in their discipline.
Requirements
- Interpret project contracts
- Provide input to Project Execution Plan
- Coordinate financial, contractual, and administrative issues
- Monitor project costs and revenues
- Evaluate, negotiate, and agree to costs and revenue
- Ensure proper setup and maintenance of Project Controls systems
- Develop claims and back charges
- Prepare financial and contractual correspondence
- Maintain clear and accurate records
- Monitor key dates
- Prepare contract supplements
- Attend meetings concerning cost, progress, technical, and contractual matters
- Lead the Change Management process
- Manage Project Risk and Opportunity Management
- Prepare project close-out report
- Oversee cost and progress functions
- Support Regional and Global Project Controls
- Liaise with personnel within the Projects Controls function
- Support bid efforts
