Senior Production Engineer

The Senior Production Engineer role involves improving production discipline within McDermott, guiding colleagues, and solving complex problems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the production discipline and be able to share their knowledge to improve products or services.

Requirements

• Guiding discipline production engineers to understand scope of work and project schedule
• Developing work pack index and setting priorities to align with project schedule
• Ensuring necessary documentation and compliance with procedural requirements
• Reviewing material expediting reports and identifying mitigation and solutions
• Providing field guidance and ensuring compliance with project and company specifications
• Leading the Discipline Production Engineering team and coordinating with stakeholders
• Establishing a productive working relationship with project superintendents and supervisions
• Providing input for project constructability program effort and leading project constructability reviews
• Supporting project fabrication coordinator to manage inter/intra-functional interfaces and project reporting requirements
• Supervising discipline production engineers and ensuring optimal utilization of production engineer resources
• Developing and mentoring junior engineers
