The Senior Structural Engineer will use best practices and knowledge to improve the Structural (Eng) discipline within McDermott. They will act as a resource for colleagues and share their expertise related to the Structural (Eng) discipline, solving complex problems and improving products or services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry
- Proven track record of leading small projects and teams
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of design codes such as EC, ACI/AISC/API, GOST, etc.
- Experience with FEM, fatigue calculations, earthquake, jackets, FPSOs, blast, hydrodynamics, etc.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong leadership and management skills
