Hydrogeologist

McElhanney is seeking a Project Hydrogeologist to take ownership of project delivery and advance their technical expertise in hydrogeology. The role offers opportunities for career development, mentorship, and growth within the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or geosciences with coursework in hydrogeology
• Eligibility for registration as a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) or Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in BC
• Minimum 5 years of experience, ideally in a consulting environment
• Familiarity with hydrogeology issues, regulations, and permitting requirements in BC (asset)
• Experience with hydrogeology data management tools and analysis software
• Strong field experience, including groundwater assessment techniques, drilling supervision, well design and installation, and well inspection, testing, and maintenance
• Project management experience is an asset
• Proficiency with data management tools (Excel, Word, etc.) and hydrogeology software such as AQTESOLV, Hydro GeoAnalyst, or similar
• Valid (or in progress) Class 5 driver's license
