McElhanney is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team in Edmonton, AB. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record in delivering complex civil engineering projects, particularly within the energy and resource sectors.

Requirements

• Lead or support the design and delivery of civil engineering projects in the energy and resource sector
• Correspond with existing clients and develop new relationships and business opportunities
• Prepare and review engineering designs, reports, technical specifications, and construction documents
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and due diligence reviews
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team
• Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, contributing to proposals, and building long-term client relationships
