Job Description
McElhanney is seeking an experienced Survey/Geomatics Technologist to join their team in Cranbrook, BC. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including legal, topographic, engineering, and construction projects, using conventional survey methods and various technologies such as drones and LiDAR. Requirements
- Lead Field crew and prepare accurate notes, sketches and field data
- Conduct conventional and GPS field surveys
- Interpret field data to create accurate survey drawings and legal plans
- Interpret Architectural and Engineering drawings for layout and as-built survey purposes
- Liaising with Project Managers and clients regarding project scope and enquiries
- Implementing quality assurance on all field returns and office deliverables
