Job Description
Course Lecturer position available to teach EDEC 253-714 Second Professional Seminar K/Elem. Course will be offered in person in Kuujjurapik. Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered for instructors who require it.
Requirements
- Master's degree or significant research or professional experience
- Expert knowledge of course content
- Knowledge of Quebec Education program and curriculum of partnering school board
- Familiarity with professional competencies and impact of colonialism on Indigenous communities
- Experience teaching in Quebec elementary school system and Indigenous communities
- Ability to adapt course to community context
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience with Indigenous issues
