Job Description
The Centre for Media, Technology and Democracy and Media Ecosystem Observatory at McGill University is seeking a part-time Research Assistant (Analyst) to contribute to research on misinformation, disinformation, and the evolving media ecosystem, with particular attention to the Quebec information environment and Canadian elections.
Requirements
- Excellent communicator and writer
- Strong familiarity with the Canadian political landscape
- Knowledge of the Quebec information environment
- Experience working with digital trace data, survey data, or other quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Working knowledge of Python, R, or other applicable programming languages
- Fluency in French (spoken and written)
