Job Description
The SUE Technician II assists in the coordination of a field crew ensuring quality of work and safety, and utilizes maps, records, and equipment to accurately locate underground utility lines. The role requires 3-5 years of experience as a SUE Technician or Utility Locator, strong knowledge of underground utility systems, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- High School/GED or equivalent
- 3-5 years of progressive experience as a utility locator or SUE Technician
- Strong knowledge of underground utility systems
- Familiarity with utility locating equipment
- Ability to walk outdoors for long periods of time
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
