Logistics Coordinator

McLane Global is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join its Transportation Services team. The role involves planning and coordinating the movement of goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and optimizing transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high standard of service.

Requirements

• 3-5 years in transportation required – 3PL brokerage preferred
• Proven experience in transportation planning, logistics coordination, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of transportation management systems (TMS) and routing software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams, external carriers, and customers.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and make data-driven decisions.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards is a plus.
