Infrastructure and Facilities Design Project Engineer

McLaren Racing is seeking an Infrastructure & Facilities Design Project Engineer to deliver key infrastructure and facility changes and upgrades in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role involves leading and managing industry professionals, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects meet all legal requirements, specifications, and regulations.

Requirements

• HNC / HND in building services or similar construction or engineering field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management
• Background in Building Services engineering preferred
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar in the design and production of CAD drawings
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• MS Office suite knowledge essential
• Experience in managing multiple small works and Capital Projects concurrently
• Ability to produce, read and interpret building plans & schematics
• Knowledge of budgeting and financial management
• Experience in managing and supervising construction teams
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proactive, self-motivated, adaptable and calm under pressure
