Building Maintenance Mechanic II - Facilities Management

The Building Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for maintaining various types of building and mechanical systems, including refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, plumbing, electrical, automation, medical gas, and fire protection systems. The position requires a high school degree and 6 years of experience maintaining commercial/industrial building systems.

Requirements

• Maintains various types of building and mechanical systems
• Ensures safe and efficient operation of mechanical systems
• Participates in skilled maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, electrical, buildings, and structures
• Leads or participates in skilled ceilings, walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, furniture, framework, drywall, and locks
• Maintains building components such as ceilings, walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, elevators, stairways, and building interior & exterior
• Perform Preventive Maintenance Measures
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
• Log daily reading of equipment and systems as assigned
• Review Work Orders daily and complete associated tasks/repairs by Type/Priority
• Perform other maintenance duties as requested
